@Azamos - look into categories (the small boxes above Sandbox - Platformer, Arcade, Short on time etc.). Most games end up there after leaving Sandbox and are not visible anywhere else.
Actually they do. Advertisers are aiming their ads at mobile devices. Running them on OUYA might break the terms and conditions. It's easy to get banned because for ad networks we, developers, are nothing.
Ad networks might not like that. And I haven't seen ones that allow custom buttons instead of viewing HTML or using their SDK to show clickable rectangle/banner.
I've just noticed that it is higher for me too. Strange. I thought it just wasn't counting situation when user buys second item in your game (in games that have non consumable or more than one consumables).
Side note: reencoding jpegs is almost a must, unless you really trust users. I used to work for a photo hosting company and they started reencoding every image after some users - probably unknowingly - uploaded infected jpegs (jpegs corrupted in suc…

You know what else is not satisfying? Shovelware games that shows ads but dont mention it before conning the user into downloading it.

Actually it would be worse. I always set quite high quality for exportet JPGs not much looking at how much space they take. ;P I doubt their auto-converter would do that.
They need to focus on their customer service and software. Has anybody even gotten a response from a real person in customer service? It took them 3 weeks to send me the canned automated email that everybody gets.

I keep getting rejected for this - even though I'm doing my best to port a mobile app that had to make good use of all the screen space. I have to prioritize mobiles, so it's either a flawed port or no port.
Well put. Especially…
I've tried everything to crash it (also 1.0.365, also wiping user data, even smashing buttons at start and checking without controller, without WiFi connection, removing my test payments...) and I just can't. Did you use the latest APK that is in th…
Never remove an app - someone might have already bought it and would lose that purchase then. Also allow getting back to Sandbox from some Discarded section after an update.
Well, my app doesn't crash at startup under any sane circumstances. And their logcat report was very, very long, still not having anything to do with my app. I suspect their test device (it might be an automatic test) was compromised by some earlier…
I was informed by the OUYA that:
1) "So OUYA is actually the selling agent. We provide detailed reports from the developer portal and pay developers net of taxes, meaning we deduct and pay VAT and state sales tax on your behalf.
We are actually w…
