  • You also don't have to register for VAT in the UK till your revenues are over £79k for the last 12 months My understanding is that you don't need to register for VAT in the UK, until the VAT taxable component of your income exceeds the VAT …
  • Thanks Nooskewl. Yeah, I think it was in the Sandbox for less than 24 hours. :-)
  • It's all taken from the analytics page on the dev portal. Haven't updated the game yet, so it's pure downloads I guess. Be interested to hear how other devs are getting on, if they want to share! :-)
  • Also, nothing against the developer, and it's a great game; but some games (the 4 player archery platform game) are way over represented, it's like the first game on 4 or so rows! How does escape from sandbox work? Do games get a limited amount of t…
  • Thanks Piers. Actually, the sandbox system you have now, doesn't seem unreasonable. It would be good to have had some idea of how your system works, before my game was on the store. Would have alleviated some stress on my part. I'd also suggest, hav…
  • OHMAHGAWD THE SKY IS FALLING, WITCHES WITCHES...BURN THEM! :p Okay, moving along... Presumably, all new games (unless released by Sega of America, heh) go in to the sandbox section? Is that correct? Then there is some mechanism for games to get out …
  • Not sure how it works TBH. Some clarification would be good! Also, I did select a category (racing) for my game, but it's doesn't seem to have worked. My game has no category at all now.
  • Thanks FuzzyWuzzie. :-) It's out now! Does have much visibility on the OUYA store front though. They've not even put it in the category I selected (racing). It only appears at the very end of the sandbox section (last section at the bottom of screen…

  • I suppose it's down to individual developers then, to integrate their own solutions in to their games (user enters code, game checks on developers web-server if code is valid, etc). Be interested to know if there are any plans for a more general OUY…
  • Okay, got it. Thanks for your help! :)
  • Ready to upload... Where / how do I select the image to use on the OUYA store front to represent my game?

  • Okay, fixed it! Turns out, the package name in my APK, didn't match the package name I set in the version on the OUYA developer portal. Doh! Rookie mistake! ;)
  • Now seem to be getting somewhere ... noticed the following error messages: 07-04 13:53:00.643: DEBUG/l(3853): {"error":{"code":2005,"message":"Invalid game Uuid was provided"}}07-04 13:53:00.653: ERROR/d(3853): Got failure response with message: {"e…
  • Here's a video of what happens:
  • Also, another question. In the developer portal > Games; I have my game, but no version setup. Do I need to also create a version for the IAP to work?
  • Thanks guys. :) Yep, it's slightly different to the iPad version; still has the 2 player mode, but it's side-by-side (player one on the left hand side of the screen, player 2 on the right hand side). Runs really well, getting a rock steady 60 frames…
