Yes it would be good to have some support from the OUYA team to have a bootloader where you can choose some options. Maybe it just takes some time.

Why should it take years to become stable ? The Tegra 3 is just another quad core ARM Cortex A9 which is of course supported by ARM Linux.

I would like to see OUYA booting some native Linux like Debian or Ubuntu.
This would make this console even more useful for many people.
I am also willing to pay for a tested Ubuntu Release for the OUYA, say 10 Euro or so.
So come one Developers…
