If you want to try GameMaker Studio, you should look at these old tutorials.

They don't say how to make it work with an Ouya (because it didn't exist then), but they are still helpful!
Here is another video (although I'm not quite sure if I can use the character yet...)

Did you know YoYo Games have got an Ouya (the dev one)? Which means proper GM support is just around the corner!
Also the GMC is good for GMS talk, but it would be really helpful if there was a place here for Ouya specific topics.
One more thing, do…

Really? I didn't know they had one yet. Awesome!

Well, I'll try my best to do it correctly then!
I try and make my mobile games a console-like experience anyway. But you are right, as much as I love Cut the Rope on my iPod, I would not want that on Ouya.

I'm sort of confused of what to do with my game. First I thought I should make it free as the Ouya's 'vibe' to me was that everything was free. But in all of these price forum topics I see that most devs would rather a free trial + IAP for the full …
@Hugo Peters You're here too!
Hi, I'm Alex Tritt but my 'internet nickname' is nujuat so that's what my account is.
I'm 16 years old and live in Australia and I've always wanted to develop for a real video game console. This is what lead me to devel…
I'm going to port some of my games over (and make some new ones) when GameMaker Studio supports Ouya. The team at YoYo Games say they would like to support it but don't have a dev kit. So I'll just wait patiently...
