Don't feel silly, I'm there with you. I've been away from Ouya Development for a few months and I'm trying to get my bearings with what's updated and I also do not see a unitypackage file. I've read the instructions 5 times over. It just says, "Part…
I'm not sure limited edition made much a difference either. My buddy got the LE version and he received his shipping confirmation the beginning of the week. I've heard nothing.
I don't think Volte is over-reacting. Isn't it reasonable to know how long your going to wait for something you've pre-paid for? How hard is a order based tracking system. Truly user friendly would be a web form that supporters could put in their nu…
Im also having emulator issues. I've gotten the emulator to run but it just shows a black screen. I don't have the Android text that you do. I had to manually install HAXM to get it running and reduce my memory to 512mb of ram. Also, had to disable …
Hey Suese,
I agree that that is a problem. I think that with this being such a hack and slash start up for the developers, your sort of getting everyone helping everyone so the main thread is getting huge and is quite confusing. If you post your par…
I've updated my project with 0.0.5.1b and it had no effect. I still get the same error message when trying to build and Unity still acts like it can't find the sdk, even though the path is set in the SDK tab. When the dialog appears to locate the SD…
I can probably force it to happen. It only appears when I've imported a new Ouya package but before I save. The save does something Unity doesn't like on my machine. Once I restart Unity, it doesn't crash anymore.
I've noticed the two packages, seem to crash the first time I try and save my project. It then deletes whatever scene I had open at the time. Just an fyi. My svn has saved me twice now.
Something strange is definately going on. I still can't compile on my home computer. Following the videos I managed to compile on my work machine but at home I still get this error:
Error building Player: Win32Exception: ApplicationName='java.exe', …
I am also confused. After reading the fine print, I was under the impression that as long as it hasn't be published or on kickstarter it was fair game. I thought the 10 days was just the submission period and the term "game jam" just used rather loo…
Hi Ayrik,
Thanks for the advice. I originally started with the videos but stopped when I hit trouble. Maybe now that two of my problems have been solved I should re-look at them. And thanks for the tip on the new unity package.
Thank Tore,
That got me a bit further. I still see the Overriding deprecated version error but now that I look at it, I think it might be a warning and not an error. So, after I hit compile I run Unity's Build function and I get this error:
Error bu…
I don't see an edit button: I've also checked the directory that R.Java is supposed to be in and it does in fact have a file in that location even though it says it doesnt. Also, I ment to say I don't have the OUYA hardware but that was probably und…
