System-wide Overscanning!
It seems like it'd be really easy to set up a one time overscan setup in the system configuration, and have a simple file specifying the rectangle of the TV's actual visual area!
or if there is 2 USB ports ( which i don't think there are) you can use a splitter where the HDD gets the adequate power by getting power from 1 plug, and more power + data i/o from the other

I think Github would be great.. plus it has that added ability of pull requests so others might beable to optimize or fix an issue helping out the OUYA team. that and you'd know you're getting bleeding edge stuff..
