yes, looks very fun! (great work on smoke trails and sounds too!!)
about the youtube dislikes, I doubt that Ouya gamers would react the same ( googlePlay and Ios are pretty decent in terms of comments and ratings)
hopefully, OuyaLive is'nt going to…
Lots of internal discussion over this topic!
We really appreciate the input from this thread :)
Gotta love a team that takes what the community has to say to heart... and communicates that they are listening. All of your guys' effort is much apprec…
Looking forward to it. The sooner you can get it into peoples hands the better. Especially fellow devs that understand how the dev process works and understand when you say, that is in the pipeline.
Best of luck going forward.
Oh wow, I'm already at 100 posts o.O
lol... I'm close behind. ;)
I think the only things they are changing are mainly form... triggers/d-pad/shape, etc. The main stuff will probably stay the same.
I respect your decision although there will always be extra costs involved when developing multiplayer games. PlayerIO costs are very cheap considering it is a fully managed farm. Most of the cost is the internet bandwidth that your players use. Y…
Now all I really need is Netflix and my OUYA is a good enough media center for our household. :) AWAY!!!
Really curious to see how Netflix will look and work.
Looks gorgeous and polished... love the art style.
If you need testers at all, I'm available via PM me to pass the .apk. I can't do anything with my OUYA until my Unity trial license gets extended... lol. So I've just been playing around with the s…
Would anyone mind taking a look into this thread? I downloaded the apk provided and got the same wonky results. However I'm no standard Droid dev, and I am still waiting on the Unity Sales team for an Android Pro trial extension so I can't try to re…
In shell I wasn't able to do anything that required root until I went through SU first... perhaps SU needs to be executed on the OUYA before apps that require root will work properly? I have no idea... I'm no rooting/shell expert. Just exploring opt…
I got xbmc working with upnp as well over our network. The only time it crashed was while renaming a source. Haven't taken the time to fully watch a full video yet, but I'll report back when we do.
Oh and I'm using rc3.
Personally I strongly disagree with having the game options in the system menu. I'd rather have the situation switched with the in-game menu taking priority with an option for the system menu and the system menu being the fallback if the developer d…
Yeah I couldn't get ADBWireless working either. What a convenience that would be. I got the same issue as Dreamwriter, it is complaining that the OUYA isn't rooted.
I'd like to echo that I just installed this and tried it out... I'm getting the exact same problems as he is. The values returned are not smooth between each other at all and there is a noticeable shortness to the length of 45 degree angles in each …
Hi GodlyPerfection. The next version of the on-screen keyboard will support controller input for selecting the letters.

Does the three second press bluetooth pairing mode serve a purpose if the controller is already paired and connected to a console?
I understand your fright of adding multiple functions, but ps3 got away with it pretty well, no?
I just tested it...…

Just got mine. Downloading the update now. My biggest problem is not being able to use standard controller input for the virtual key board. Grrr. That touchpad is a bit annoying. I want to be able to use my dpad atleast to navigate the keyboard.
Take a look at player.io. That is what I'll be using. Provides a backend that supports virtual currency. I don't have my console yet so i haven't been able to test it. Just a suggestion.
Woops. Never mind. Seems I backed at the $225 tier. I guess I'll just poke at the ODK till March.
Well that sucks... lol.
Mine finally left Los Angeles earlier this morning, hopefully it gets to Portland then here in Eugene quickly. :) Still haven'…
I'd just like to underline a big difference in areas often treated as one in this discussion: The standard of a pause button and the built-in functionality of one.
I'm all for designating one tap on the OS button to be the standard pause button. Ho…
Hi all,
Sorry if I wasn't clear the first time around.
So what was the minimum price of donation in order to have been eligible to receive a dev kit?
The $700 tier.
Still waiting on mine too...and good to see you around Godly ;)
CHENG!!! I didn't realize you were getting a devkit for the OUYA. lol... perhaps we will be seeing each other more often then. Are you a standard droid dev or do you use Unity? I'm a Un…
Heh - my OUYA is in Los Angeles, but it missed its flight - "The piece has arrived later than normally scheduled and cannot make its expected planned movement / delivery cycle"
Damnit... mine is part of that same shipment. Grrr...
