Link to "Rate This Game"

Hey guys,

What's the link syntax to use when inviting our users to give us a thumb-up?

    You mean a hyperlink you can give users to up-thumb you from your website? Or a button they can press to do it in-game?

    I mean the equivalent of "Rate this App" on the other stores (iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon, Nook and so on). 

    I'm sure that each game has an internal link, we just don't know what that is, hence I'm asking :) With that bad surprise (the SB ghetto) we really have to keep asking to the players not to forget to rate the game...

    We don't currently have a web portal, so there's no way to provide a link to a specific game at this time.

    Yes, something like that, an internal link to pull up the OUYA store itself straight to the game.

    Be glad that there is no such web access to 'likes' for OUYA games.
    Currently you can only like a game if you have an OUYA.
    And devs should be very grateful for this, so no competitor will fraud the system.

    Ah, right. We can add that, but I can't promise how soon since we're working on so many important things right now. I'll definitely add a feature request for it though :)

    I'm going to have to disagree and say that I don't want to see this feature. I loathe when Android games nag me constantly to rate the game and I really don't want to see that on Ouya, too.

    @bishop: the frequency of that request is all depending on the developer, so don't blame the platform for devs misbehaving ;) That is among the most important features of any platform, so we do need it here, a lot!

    There are a few problems with rating a game on an app store. Firstly, some people might reserve 5 stars for only their very favourite games, whilst others might 5 star any game they enjoy for more than 5 minutes. Secondly, it is very easy for someone to 1 star something they just don't like the look of, whether they've played it or not. Plus some people will just insist on being asshats and 1 starring everything just for trolls/lols

    However, just for the thumbs up button, it makes sense. I suppose I'm not that fussed and would rather see a complete API or set of things I can do from inside the app come in time/when it's ready
