Multiplayer support

Hello,

Does anyone have any information on what kind of friend-discovery/multiplayer lobby support the OUYA is going to have? I'm not seeing any mention of it in the ODK documentation, and while it's still early, if we need to implement those solutions ourselves, we'll need all the time we can get.

If I remember correctly that is coming in the future... like Summer future. So I'd suggest taking your own route. I'll be running Player.IO since it has a Unity client.

We aren't working on any social features for launch, but they're definitely high on our priorities after that point :)

Does that include in-game matchmaking, or is that seperate from social features? My worry is creating multiplayer matchmaking services may prove to be too much to deal with on my own and I was hoping there would be some sort of native calls for it through the ODK.

PlayerIO is working on matchmaking as part of their development suite. Not sure when it will be available but I know for sure that they are on it.

There are a lot of resources about this available on the internet. What are you using to create your game? Are you writing it from scratch in C++ or are you using a game engine like Unity3D?
