I just happened to see a tumblr link on an OUYA Engineer's blog yesterday, and boy was I surprised by what I saw!

I wasn't sure if they were real or not, but Eddie K, who runs OUYA Forum, got in contact with Uhrman and she told him that they are quite real. They are prototypes, however, so the final version may differ.

It's funny, even until now I've seen a lot of people doubting OUYA, saying the metal model wouldn't come and OUYA would just release plastic ones. But I guess not!

What does everyone think? Do they live up to your expectations?

Worst case scenario, still a plastic casing, but with metal plating. :D

This is a confirmed fake on OUYAForums. But you certainly showed all the naysayers with your false report.

Do you have a source link for that? Because on OuyaForum (as mentioned in the OP here) Eddie K. got a response from Julie Uhrman that this isn't fake at all, it's a real prototype.
