Anybody else in the UK who can offer guidance? I know Piers has already commented on the fact they're sorting out payments to outside of the US but what about the relevant tax forms. In particular:

It looks like you have to apply for an EIN number. I didn't put that into my form when I submitted.
You can claim back the 30% US gov tax that is held back at a later point by filling in another form if you choose not to submit the EIN tax number. I'll see how mine is accepted and get back to you.
EDIT: don't take what I am saying about holding back the EIN as canon, I still have to verify wether or not it is allowed that I do so.
ANOTHER EDIT!: You probably can get by with an ITIN number if you are not a corporation.
