What about inspired games. There are more than original and ports. If I made a game called "Mad Chickens" where they are shot out of cannon to attack foxes on boxes. It's not really original or a port.
I will release my game first on OUYA, Ubuntu, probably Desura and then after a month or two on mobile - Android+iOS (mostly tablets, phones will be too small for a proper platformer). It depends on a few issues though yet, so I might change my mind (I don't have OUYA which might delay the release a bit unless testers don't find any issues that are hard to solve without the device).
Well, the systems ported from are an important metric for them to track their demographic. I also agree with SpoonThumb, a simultaneous option would be a good idea, but for the purpose of this poll, just put OUYA original I would think.
Most games have a target and then an offshoot audience. Targeting console, then pc, then other or any other order. I think the developer who is honest with themselves can say which platform the game truly shines on, vs where it can also be applied. Hopefully that makes sense, it does to me! haha.
What if it's a game originally developed for android smartphones but it's not done yet and I plan to release it on OUYA as well? ;) Oh and it's a ball rolling game so it plays on the whole tilt functionality of smartphones. I'll choose port of android game.

I'm curios. what are you doing with the lack of Tilt on the controller? are you going to be using touch swipes as a form of force. Similar to the old Marble Madness game?
