It seems kind of strange to me that the menu moves back and forth such a large distance and so fast - almost impossible to actually read the text! I'd say to keep the main menu still, or if you want it to move just a tiny bit and very slowly.
You didn't remember the plot of the Doctor Who movie because there was none; Just a bunch of plot holes strung together.
