Television - OUYA CREATE Entry

Our prototype for the jam is called Television.

It's pretty weird idea, and our submission offers a small glimpse into where the insanity could lead. It's an ambitious idea for such a short development period, but we worked as hard as we could to offer up a sense of what's to come.

The concept is simple, explore a series of weird television channels, where each show is short game:

That was pretty much the premise of Wario Ware (an old Nintendo GBA game).  And it was a load of fun.  I'd say you're on to something here.  Good luck!

Of all the entries I have looked at so far, this is the one I am most excited about. The mood is excellent. I love the approach and how you are embracing the form.

It's not to a point where we're ready to share with everyone yet, it's really a suggestion of where we want to go at this point. :)

Thanks! WarioWare + Myst are the references we dropped in the second video there. The games are longer than the ones you would find in WarioWare, and there's more structure intended to wrap it all together. It's actually closer to Incredible Crisis than WarioWare, but the latter is more familiar to people.

We're excited too! We love the concept, and if nothing else comes out of this, at least we have another strong concept to work with. Thanks for the kind words!
