MagBall - CREATE Submission (With APK Download!)

So here is my entry for the Create competition: MagBall.

The game is a futuristic sport similar to soccer, but played by robots using electromagnetic forces.

Here is some gameplay footage (Taken at 2AM EST on submission day :D)



I didn't get to quite where I wanted to be, but the game is definitely playable with two people. Single player works but is not quite as fun (Yet, till the AI is properly working,) and four player should work but is completely untested...

    Will it try it now, but you should know your link converts the file to zip download when using the Android browser so we cant use the Android browser directly :(. I am going to use adb to load it now.

    Just tried it. Still not quite sure how to play and I think I jammed the "input" pipeline by pressing the buttons repeatedly too long, but it runs pretty well otherwise :)

    Good to know. Yeah there are currently issues with the Unity ODK plugin - I think the inputs are sent from the ODK to unity via JSON...which sounds like a terrible idea when have something that is updated constantly like that. But I am sure it will be fixed by the time Ouya is released.

    But the goal is to put the ball into your colors goal, so red to red, blue to blue. You hold a trigger to charge your magnet and release to either push (right trigger) or pull (left trigger.) The higher the charge the larger the radius and stronger the force.

    Currently the AI is terrible at the game and will occasionally get stuck on the walls so I recommend playing two player. Also the AI will end up shooting the ball high into the air which is also unintended :D
