Can't get MonoGame build to launch on Ouya.

So I'm frantically trying to get a build running for http://killscreendaily.com/create/ CREATE competition (submissions close tonight). I'm using MonoGame with Mono for Android. I don't have any android hardware myself, let alone a devkit, but everything seems to work just fine in the emulator...


A friend of mine *does* have a devkit, and I've been sending him builds to test out... is there something like a different apk file or something he needs to install first before a game made with MonoGame will run? I've tried sending him just a build of the barebones ouya template shipped with MG3.0, and still nothing. What am I missing here?

    Thanks so much! I'm still having problems though, I guess I just won't be able to submit a build tonight. I followed those instructions to a T and my buddy is still saying it won't launch for him...

    I'm planning on sending in a published .apk file per the page you linked and I guess send in a PC build too, just so if they're feeling in a generous mood, there's something playable.

    Aside from this CREATE thing, I'll probably just wait till I get ahold of an Ouya myself so I don't have to keep sending builds across the world to be tested. Thanks again.
