Store Data?

We're building an OUYA native client for out app GAME.minder, our games discovery/reminders engine.  I spoke to Julie about a possible feed of data from the OUYA store and she indicated I should reach out here as well.

specifically -

Does the OUYA team know yet what data will be available?

How it will be accessed (API)?

We'd love to know the state of any of that data, what is expected to be available etc. We're also happy to help work through the details of how this might work if it's still in flux.

Additionally, I know the model for OUYA is free to play so I'm not sure if any thought has been put into any sort of affiliate system for an app like ours but obviously, we'd love it if that was something that was in the works.

related - if you have already downloaded an OUYA game, we'd love to offer a quick "Play Now" button from within the GAME.minder app that will launch the selected game, if that is possible.

Thanks in advance!

Its not free to play. that term could get someone into trouble, if used incorrectly. Ouya has a 'FREE-To-Try' model.

Not exactly, games are "free to download", however it is entirely up to the developer how the implement a purchase, whether that be a trial, followed by a purchase to unlock full content, or more of a traditional F2P model.
