Could the Virtual keyboard use joy2 for letter selection and dpad for normal text

I was just thinking it is a huge pain when you mistype something you can not really move through the characters to that point with the virtual keypad up.

If you could move through the text field with your normal navigation buttons (dpad and joystick 1) while navigating and selecting letters with the virtual keypad using the second joystick then that would make it a lot easier. Especially if sending a message through e-mail or whatever the ouya friend system will be.

What do you guys think?

Joy2 is the right hand stick, right? Sounds like a good idea. I love that the keyboard on my phone has arrow keys. It's much easier than the default Android keyboards and Swype keyboards when it comes to moving around the text at least for single character moves and other small increments.

I was thinking of joystick 2 as the right one. I should have just said the right joystick and left joystick. I should pause and think before writing.

Even arrows in the virtual keyboard would be good.

Though for really big bodies of text I would prefer to move the cursor and move on the virtual keyboard independently.

Yeah, I just mentioned the arrow keys as something comparable. Fixing typos without an easy way to navigate the text is simply horrible, so I would love to be able to control it with the right stick or shoulder buttons.

The next update will have R1/L1 move the caret when using our keyboard :)

    Nick that sounds good.

Though for multiple line text being able to go down would be good. Though probably not that important.

I was just envisioning there being other programs with text like maybe even IDE. develop apps on android and while I know you would plug in a keyboard I still feel like at least a controller equivalent would be fair. Though I suppose no one ever would.

Which it really would not be needed.
