Additional USB ports?

I have been thinking on if there is a way to add additional USB ports to the OUYA? I play lots of emulation so I have a USB mem stick in the slot already. I would like a couple more so I can use my 360 controller (or two) with these games.. I do enjoy the Ouya controller but .. I just like the x box one better. Has anyone done anything like this? Or perhaps have any good ideas where to start?

    I believe the follow-up question would be, which USB hubs work well with the Oyua? Not all are capatable.

    I just tried a "Plugable USB 2.0 2 Port Hub" and the entire OUYA system crashes when I plug in a wired Xbox 360 pad. The 360 pad and OUYA all work fine when plugged straight in to the OUYA.

    I was about to send the hub back to Amazon but came across this thread - I had no idea hubs could have compatibility issues (the U in USB should mean Universal compatibility). Tried the hub on the iMac and it works fine, so either the hub or the OUYA isn't being fully USB 2.0 compliant.

    So to just repeat Capt_Obvious' question above - anyone out there with a USB hub that works OK on OUYA? Thanks!

    I plugged in a generic powered USB Hub...5v DC @ 200 mA. The key is to powere off your OUYA and plug everything in and then power it on. The Console doesn't seem to recognize thing plugged in hot if there is more than one device.

    FWIW, While I was able to connect a USB Keyboard by itself without restarting, once I added a USB extension cord,the restart was necessary. So now I can add an additional hard drive to my OYA...yay!

    Mine seems to work fine hot plugging (USB hub, with controller ports and USB keyboard and USB mouse), I hot plug due to the fact if I don't the controller gets assigned to slot 3 or 4 (depending on what I have plugged into the hub), if I power on the ouya and then sync controller it gets assigned to slot 1 and everything else gets assigned higher.

    The reason why is cause many games on ouya will not work, or not work right when the ouya controller is assigned to a higher slot then slot 1.
