I received my Ouya yesterday and would like to share some issues. Also I wonder why there is only a "Bug Reporting - Games" category here and no "Bug Reporting - Ouya" ;)
1. When I was about to enter my Prepaid code, which was all upper-case, I also entered everything in uppercase (meaning I would have to press "SHIFT" before each letter). Only later I discovered that if I had typed lower-case, it would be changed into upper-case automatically. I think it would be nicer to display the letters in the on-screen keyboard all upper-case to make that clearer.
2. When I wanted to submit that code, I got an Error, but there was no description on what went wrong. So I thought my code was misspelled or not working, etc. After going back a few steps and re-entering my username and password, I also got an Error, but this time it was clearly pointed out that there is a problem with the wireless network connection. So I connected a LAN cable and everything went fine, also the entering of that Prepaid code. What I'd like to suggest is to improve that error message when the code cannot be submitted in order to not mislead users into thinking the code might be not working.
3. Sometimes when I open the discover menu, I get dropped back to the main menu and there is a popup telling me that some Java Exception was thrown.
4. Once after leaving the Ouya running for a few minutes without doing anything on it, the connection to the controller was broken. I tried to re-pair it (lol great pun) but it was not possible to do so. So I had to restart the console.
5. I was not able to enter anything into the Google search field in the installed browser. I was able to open the URL to Google but there was no way to go into that search field and open the on-screen keyboard. Maybe it works but I don't know how. I also have found no help for that browser telling me which button does what.
6. It seems to me as if the screenshots in the discover menu are not cached but reloaded each time. I don't think this is a good idea, because sometimes the connection is slow and then you have to wait until you see them.
7. There should really be some kind of Downloads overview, because when you have no games or only a few, you tend to put several into the queue. Maybe in the play menu they should already be displayed (but with a "currently downloading" or "in queue" mark, or in a sub-section below, like the discover sections), just so that you know which ones are still downloading and soon available.
