Forum account weirdness

For two of my devices, I noticed when I logged into the developer portal, when I clicked the link to the forum, it said "Howdy Stranger", and I had to click "Sign in with OUYA", pick my username, and sign in a second time for it to "take".

I now just tried logging in on my main computer, and got the "Howdy Stranger" message again. However, now when I click "Sign in with OUYA", it just redirects me back to the developer portal (where I am already logged in of course). I don't get the option to pick me username and sign in a second time for the forum like before. Clicking on the forum link, and I am greeted with the "Howdy Stranger" message again.

This effectively prevents me from starting new topics or responding to existing ones. Thankfully last time I did the double login nonsense from my phone, I selected the option to remember me in both places. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to post this thread. Any ideas what is going wrong? I'd hate to only be able to post on the forum from my phone from now on!

For reference, I am using Firefox on Ubuntu. I haven't tried using another browser like Chrome yet.

I've been getting that a lot, it's quite annoying that it won't remember that you logged in. I couldn't reply to any threads for a few days because no matter how I tried it wouldn't remember that I logged in once I navigated away to a different forum.

Same here with Chrome. I effectively logged in with my FB or G+ and it remembers me now. But technically that would 2 different accounts, one for the forums and one for just ouya.tv.

We believe this is now fixed.  Can one of you check and confirm that you're able to sign in now?

I have been getting comments in my profile, but never saw them because no notifications get sent out, and there's no icons that change like when someone sends you a PM. Can we do something to change that?

    Thanks!

Seems fine now. Still a bit odd though that after logging in, when I go to the forum page I have to say `log in with ouya` and a window pops up and does something or other and disappears and then apparently I'm properly logged in. It should be plain and simple... I log in, I'm logged in, no extra clicks.

Yes, it works now like imaginaryhuman described. I just want to add you should log off on both sides "devs.ouya.tv" and "forums.ouya.tv" just to be sure.
It show the number of posts reduced considerably but that confirms that the sides are unified.

I'm having this problem again with IE10 - works fine in Chrome. I've tried InPrivate Browsing, still doesn't work. I've deleted all internet files and cookies, still no love.

I just tried this morning with IE10, and had the same problem with the "Howdy" message showing, and then clicking "Sign in with OUYA" redirects the Dev home page.  Going back to the foums still showed the "Howdy" message, and I tried again a few times with the same result over and over.

I finally used Chrome to sign in.

Any chance someone could fix it for IE10?

I have the same issue with IE10 on Windows 8. The forum doesn't detect that I'm signed into ouya.tv. I can use IE8 and other browsers without an issue.
