hiya im young and interested in making my first game (of a platformer type) if anyone can point me to a platformer game tutorial sort of direction then i would be very much obliged OUYA rules!
This is probably a little bit more advanced then you were looking for and not OUYA centric, but it might help you get into developing. You'll need to download the Unity engine from www.unity3d.com before you can jump in.
For something a little less advanced, you could look into GameMaker Studio. There should be a ton of tutorials online for that.
