Extremely buggy / hangs / freezes / crashes

I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing problems.

I just received my system and ran through the normal setup.  I'm physically connected to my network.

I'm finding that the system is riddled with bugs.  I had to install a game 3 times from the ouya store before it actually opened without crashing (the boxing game).  Every once in awhile I'll be navigating the menus and it will freeze for about 5 seconds before continuing.

I installed XBMC and it refuses to play content for more than about 35ish minutes.  No matter what media I'm playing at around that time the media will stop playing and refuse to start back up again.  I have to hit the Ouya button twice to exit the program, enter again, and then XBMC doesn't save where I left off.  Attempting to fast forward or skip ahead is impossible and usually leads to another crash.  I've tried the XBMC from their main site as well as Gotham Alpha 2 and Gotham Alpha 4.  They all do the same thing.

Almost everything I've thrown at this thing has failed.  The NES, PSOne, and Sega emulators on the store seemed to work fine, though I only used them for 10 minutes each.

The way it's functioning now it serves as a sad paperweight..... not any time of usable digital device.

Is anyone else having these issues?  I'm hoping I received a flaky version.

Thanks for your input.

Well i received mine today and was working fine until i downloaded a few more games on it...

Now it's all jittery on the main UI, sound plays that you moved the cursor...... ...... ..... then the cursor moves. I tried playing the last game i downloaded (the grayscale platformer that started with a C) it loads very slowly and the music plays a little, then skips around and just all jittery :(

IDK if its the OS having problems, CPU getting too hot, or what :(

I fixed some of the issues I was having.  After the most recent update (1.06) I reset to factory settings and then continued to load xbmc and a few games.  I only got to briefly test it but it appeared to be much less buggy.  XBMC played a show the entire way through without crashing.
