Very noob question

Hi all, I'm new here. I'm a developer and I would like to know if there is a OUYA virtual device (as there is one for Android development or iPhone development) to test the builds. The fact is that right now I don't own a OUYA and I would like to push the investment of buying one further in the future.
Is this possible or I must own a OUYA in order to test what I develop?

    By the lack of answers I suppose I need a OUYA to develop games. That is a shame.

    A very quick search within the Ouya Develop SDK would've led you to this page:

    You could use tablets and other devices to simulate the Ouya.

    Oh. That is nice! I just completely skipped the installation instructions as I installed the ODK following another website instructions.
