Hi, I'm new to the community. We pre-ordered an ouya months ago, but havn't received or heard anythingnyet. Havn't really looked at the ouya sdk yet. We are looking at the emerging android game consoles and have a few projects we are considering for ouya...

1. An opengl game we already have on iOS, Danger Quest: http://www.makeitsostudios.com/app.php?a=dangerquest
2. A more ambitious 3D game being done in native-c OpenGL.
3. Another ambitious multiplayer game with Cordova frontend that we are working on with a larger project team.
4. A whole series of simpler trivia games using Cordova. All of these have in-app or freemium sales models.

In the past we have focusednon native iOS, but we are now looking at more cross platform game dev. Would these projects fit Ouya? How much work is Ouya porting for native-c or Cordova games? (hoping none)

Thanks!

I would think what is best for controlling by a controller instead of touchscreen and ported that one first. :)

Yeah, that would be the best thing to go with. :)

Makes sense. Our Danger Quest game is actually far better suited for a controller than a touch screen, we are in the process of porting it.

Anybody have experience with Cordova web apps and Ouya? How responsive is the controller?

BTW, our ouya just arrived tonight. I'm having trouble with the wifi ... but it will be easier to ethernet plug it right into the router and ADB it in the office.
