*UPDATE* Have added grid effect and added Video of early play on Youtube. Dont Forget to Turn Youtube to 720pHD to watch.

I am currently working on a
Geometry Wars type of game called Fire Chaos and have got it running really well on a ASUS Nexus 7. I am still awaiting my OUYA which i pre ordered in  early January but still, getting it to run at a decent frame rate on Nexus 7 means that it will perform just as well on OUYA.

The game runs at 57 - 60 FPS with full particle effects active and is designed for 720P@60 but i will optimise code towards then end of project and apply some tricks to keep speed high.

Below is a screenshot, all enemy sprites and graphics in general will be remastered as these are mock sprites and not final. Obviously because its a Geometry Wars type game this will be FREE to download and play as charging for a Geometry Wars clone could lead to legal issues but not sure as i don't know who now owns the copyright for Geometry Wars nowadays since Bizarre Creations got shut down.

I will post a video also as soon as i can.

I really like geometry wars, and this looks promising!
    Will it feature coop/competive playmodes?

I made the OUYA exclusive games Cube and Creature and Hellworm!

was thinking about multiplayer actually a while ago, could be both coop and cooperative modes. Competitive you could both be displayed on the same screen and each starts with 3 lives and the player that survives the longest wins. Could also look at adding at some point Google Play Service support for online multiplayer so both coop and competitive modes can be played with somebody across the globe but Online multiplayer will be a last thing to look at and hopefully sometime this year OUYA may of added some sort of multiplayer functionality via internet
