Guys,

I love some Gameloft Android titles, it's a pretty good studio. So far they did not comment anything in regard OUYA. So if you want to poke them, you can! :-)

ps - I know it's all about platform spread but why not to try...

Why would us developers care if another developer ports their games to the OUYA or not? :P  Maybe you should try this in a non-developer-oriented forum...

Although developers HATE HATE HATE spam campaigns, so doing this would probably make them NOT want to support the OUYA audience.  Just look at how Nintendo treated the spam campaign to bring certain games to the US, Nintendo flatly refused to do it, and then after delaying the games by over a year tried to make it clear that they weren't doing it because of the campaign.

Yeah, did not mean SPAM in real. Just poking them cannot hurt. This is not a petition or something ;-)

Only OUYA sales will tell us more...

Spam isn't good but it doesn't hurt to ask, I've done so myself with reasonable results. Some pretty, interesting and ambitious titles will likely come to Ouya eventually.

Bringing an Android game to Ouya would be easy as anything in theory, so hopefully many more studios big (like Gameloft) and small will see the potential for a new market or at least a bit of an experiment.

Still would like to see more titles come from other sources too but the trickier conversions (i.e from desktop/X86) may have to wait for more hardware units in the hands of gamers.

Still, quite amazing to think the console up until this point hasn't been out officially. After launch (1 day time I believe), I'll be interested to see which direction software support goes but at this early stage, the only way is up.

Just look at how Nintendo treated the spam campaign to bring certain games to the US, Nintendo flatly refused to do it, and then after delaying the games by over a year tried to make it clear that they weren't doing it because of the campaign.

That's just nasty though, it should be seen as a blessing so many people want your product. The so called "worse company in the USA" manage to show more heart and bring us Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefront 3...

With huge demand, a company with so much publishing power shouldn't see gamers as a nuisance and the moment they do they've lost it.
