A couple of questions

Hi

For the last year I've been learning all things related to game development. I started this as a hobby to keep my mind from rotting away. I'm now thinking it's a good idea to consider making it my next job. Anyway my first question is.

1- Lets say I make a erotic visual novel similar to those popular in Japan and I release it for the PC. I understand that OUYA doesn’t accept anything sexually explicit. Would there be a problem distributing it if I took out the erotic content? I'd still rate it as heavy, just to not suffer complaints later.

2- I'm still a year or two away from producing a game I'll put my name on however, I would like to release my first game(s) for free to promote my work. Could I upload my games to OUYA as a freeware download?

    Welcome, Arkinum.  I'm actually not sure how far you can push erotic content, but your solution to remove it would definitely be fine.  You are also welcome to release a free game, that's no problem.  If you were interested in the free version, but would like to get paid a bit, you could accept In App Purchases that are donation based.  Your game would still be free, but users could donate to you if they wish.  See Stalagflight for an example of this :)
