Exit Game?

Maybe I am just slow, but I can not exit a game. I have tried two Puzzle games: BarleyBreak and Word Shaker. I have pushed every button on the controller but I can not get out of the game.

My guess is the dev overloaded the back button. Is there another option?

    Double tap the system button to exit the game (this works for all games).
    You didn't remember the plot of the Doctor Who movie because there was none; Just a bunch of plot holes strung together.

    Or hold the button for a second, then release it (it's the Home button in the center of the controller).

    And this is exactly why developers should put an option to exit their game, in their menus.

    The new firmware tells you how to exit when you launch games now
