Hi, I'm Helmut. I've been developing software for decades now but only started seriously working on games a few months ago. I was lucky to get a few weeks of at my daytime job, and used them working day and night on SXP, a space pilot game created with Unity.

Hello my name is José Rafael Marcano, live in Venezuela and developing games for over 30 years (started at 12, hehehe), in the golden age of personal computers, schedule for Sinclair ZX81, Zx Spectrum, Commodore 64, Atari 800XL, Atari ST, Amiga and PC of course.

I already have my OUYA and I am preparing several games, including the remake of Great Mazinger. I am already in evidence and I love the console, only that in my initial tests its performance is less than a Galaxy S2 and S3, I do not understand because, if you have almost the same technical characteristics. The only thing I can think of is the launcher but I do not think that this will be heavier than the Samsung Touchwiz.

    I leave my Facebook page:

Hi my name is Mark Craig. By day I'm the Programming Director at Lucid Games (www.lucidgames.co.uk). I'm also one of the owners of Muffin Games (www.muffingames.co.uk) which is a small company set up by me and an old colleague with the help of Lucid Games.

I'm currently working on converting Fur Fighters to Ouya, I've already converted it to iOS and released it. Many people have asked me to convert it to Ouya so that's what I'm doing. It's a dual analogue game by design so it only seems right to put it on Ouya.
Here is a video of it on running iOS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oinqELFXk9o
I have the bulk of it running on Ouya, I'm now adapting it to be a better package for Ouya, I'm the original lead programmer so I'll endeavour to make the best version I can.

    Cheers,
    Mark.

Hi Mark, excellent news the adaptation of Fur Fighters Ouya, and luck with development, up to now my problems have been from memory, I think that the console with your current firmware does not use 1 Gb Ram but 512 MB or less!

If something happens, I have my game of Great Mazinger that works perfect on a S2 and S3 Samsung and the console is not running by memory problems. I think that the Samsung Touch Wiz should be heavier OUYA Launcher, don't you think?

HI, my name is Anthony Alexander, I'm not really a developer, I have a huge interest in gaming and programming and back projects like Ouya and Raspberry Pi because I would like to learn how to produce software like games or apps. I know a little of web based languages like HTML but is currently self tearning acutally programming languages. I would like to develop software eventually so right now I throw my 2 cents around and learn from the posts and messages on here

    Hello,
I am Mystaria. I am someone who has handled more of the public relations, community management, tech support, problem solving and idea handling in projects, developers, and studios that I have been associated with. So now that Ouya is here, looking to see whats around and see if I can help out anywhere. Also trying to talk to a few of my friends to bring their apps and games over to Ouya. If you need some help or need some ideas, or someone to help coordinate your community. I am usually always around, @Mysticales or mysticales ( at ) darkmystics (dot) com

    Hello I am ProxyFox.
I started IQ Interactive many years ago out of high school. Unfortunately the number of projects started and not completed is infinite while I don't have any grand titles to tell of at the moment... The only stable member of this team of volunteers is myself, the others are volunteers that help me out when available (and not always the same people). Currently working on a new card game, but will be looking to develop for the Ouya soon after that. Figured I should start lurking the boards now and introduce myself. HELLO EVERYONE!

Hi OUYA-Devs, we are GoldenTricycle, a Berlin based indie studio currently working on CLARK.
CLARK is an action loaded puzzle-adventure with retro-style controls and a grid-based gameplay.
We are developing cross-platform using the Unity engine. We did a dev-diary for the E3. It introduces the game as well as our team. Dev-diary on Youtube Hope you enjoy...

If you are looking for more information you can: Check out our Developers Blog or follow us on Facebook Site. We are also on IndieDB. The Game is introduced in the OUYA-Forum too.

We are currently working quite hard to do the final levels of CLARK as we hape to release the Free-Demo in June 25th (along the OUYA retail start). I think we will need untill August to get the complete package out. As we (Felix Möckel and me, Matthias Titze) were formerly architects and are doing indie games for just 1.5 years now, this whole development process is a big adventure for us. It's crazy that we now have the chance to bring CLARK on a console.

    Hello fellow developers.

I code SQL and Java all day and was looking to get into developing something more graphic when I discovered the OUYA.  I am really looking forward learning Android development and making something fun and enjoyable.  This will only be side work with a few friends.

    Hey guys,

I'm Andrew Hardy, Founder and Lead Dev at HardHead Games based out of Toronto, Ontario.  My friend Greg and I have been making games for years, but it wasn't until recently that we decided to try to release some of them so that others might enjoy them as much as we do.

We often enter Ludum Dare, and we have probably 10 or so games in various stages of development.  Anything that we release in the foreseeable future will be on OUYA.  Our first full blown title, World Destroyers, will be out in a couple weeks.  And then shortly after that we have another game coming which I made in 3 days for Ludum Dare 26!

Super excited to be part of the OUYA community.  If you'd like to add me on facebook go for it!  I'm always looking to network and talk games with anyone! :D
    Love Retro Gaming?!
Check out our new release World Destroyers!

    Hi,

I am an indie developer working on Mammoth Gravity Battles for multiple platforms including Ouya. Mammoth gravity battles is a turn based strategy/artillery game with high quality 3d graphics and featuring 2D and 3D levels, multiple weapons, four player battles and a story driven campaign. Similar to death star battles/gravity wars you aim the shots from your mammoth ships and watch as they fly in all three dimensions pulled by the gravity of the stars, planets, asteroids, moons and black holes in each sector.

    image

I'm particularly excited to be part of Ouya game development community, its a great platform and a wonderful time to be an indie developer.

Hi there folks, Rieza Hughes. I'm a multimedia graduate with a fluent flare in web and graphic design. I've had a few game ideas for years now, and they are pretty well fleshes out. I'm hoping that Ouya will be a wonderful platform to get my ideas working on and maybe even publish!

    Hi!

I'm Graham and I'm trying to switch career to become a full time developer.  I'm studying towards a degree in Computing and IT, trying to choose courses which lean towards software development. I have limited coding experience, mostly with Java.

OUYA seems like a fun way for me to start building up a portfolio, creating games as a hobby and, hopefully, transforming that hobby into the career I want!

Hi, I'm Brant Anderson and I'm interested in game development for the OUYA. I'm fresh meat when it comes to game programming for consoles. I've mainly written testing code and experiments for the last couple years. No real projects... Until now. Now I have a purpose. Now I have a target platform - OUYA.

    Hi,

I'm just interested in the Ouya in general. I really dig TowerFall. Ice Rage is oddly addicting too. I like that it can run XBMC and I'm looking forward to the possibility of a Netflix app.

Hey guys! Nine pages in so not sure if this will ever get seen, but that's okay. Name's Lakota and I'm a game design student from Melbourne, Australia. Still studying but in my last year, and can't wait to get my hands on the OUYA (which has been shipping for over a month to my address here in Oz 0_o). It's great to see how many talented developers are on here and I'm hoping to both learn from and get to know as many of you as possible ^_^

I've got some student stuff over at HeyLakota.com but nothing big as of yet, as most of the work is 2 week prototypes here and there. I've been working on a small private project though which I think will mesh well with the OUYA, so you might see me around picking your brains over how to implement certain things ;)  I'm currently working in Unity4 so you'll probably find me in that section of the forum. Hope to see you there :)

    Hi,

My name is Edward a.k.a 'Broski ' and I'm a normal guy with dreams to make games. I'm currently learning how to make games on the ouya. I've seen the ouya on kickstarter during October and I saw that cube grow to what it is today. Its fuddging epic. You bros will be seeing my name a lot. In online game play. In the High score list. In the fourms. And possibly in the credits of a game.

    Take Care & Happy Gaming.

Greetings humans. My name is Dane. My Creative partner and I decided to jump on the Ouya band wagon. I just picked mine up yesterday (man these are hard to find in the LA area!). I'm going to be working on regurgitating an older iOS game over to Ouya, but rebuilt to take advantage of the full screen resolution...so basically rebuilding the whole thing minus the assets.

We are going to tinker around with the kit for a while and focus on some 2D stuff, but we plan to transition to Unity in the near future. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical about Ouya before but now seeing who Ouya is really for, I'm/we're sold.

Looking very forward to seeing what's ahead!

    Hi everyone!

I'm Eric, Game Designer, Project Manager and Founder of Armandra Studios.  We created two titles thus far and published them on Newgrounds, but we hope to enter the Android market - be it both mobile and Ouya.  Currently, we are in the process of developing two more titles and one of them being on the Ouya.  The only problem is that we're using Stencyl and there doesn't seem to be much support (any, at all) for that engine for the Ouya.

While we're in the midst of creating the art, having a programmer on board to help out would be greatly appreciated :)

Hope to contribute whatever I can to both the forums and to the Ouya itself.

    Hi All,

Just call me "Doooh".  I am a software developer, going on 20 years now.  Never developed a game before, never had any interest.  I own the Ouya, my son bought it for me.  Right now I have a mild interest in customizing my Ouya.  Don't know what I can do with it yet, still looking around for ideas.  I work in the social networking industry, so I might be interested in writing some software towards that area.  I know its not a game but the Ouya is more than just a gaming console, right?  I work for one of the top 20 software company's in the industry, so I might have some resources and time available to make something like this happen.  Any ideas on customizing the Ouya, please send my way.
