OUYA with MonoGame

I've been developing a game in C# with XNA 4.0 for several months. I just started using MonoGame and was able to port my game over to Android fairly quickly.  I would be very interested in doing the same for OUYA, but it seems like in the past it has been a bit of a bumpy road. It looks like many of those issues have been resolved, but are there still major hurdles to get a game working or is it more of a seamless experience? I'm ready to fork over the money for Xamarin.Android, just want to know if it will be worth it.

EDIT: I guess what I'm really interested in knowing is what are the things to watch out for when taking this development route?

It is just like another Android target.  MonoGame has an OUYA configuration, and some games already on the OUYA Store have been built with MonoGame.

I've been responsible for the C# bindings for OUYA, and am about to update them to the latest 1.0.4 ODK release.

Thanks for the input. I just didn't want to get into to something that wasn't well supported, but it doesn't look like that will be an issue.
