My ouya store not updating

in this video at 12:41 the download screen for a game is shown.

My screen does not look like that. It looks like the really old view with just a jumble of text down the left side. Downloading brings up a dialog with a download bar and the only option is cancel once you start downloading. Also still all the crap about hitting back goes to the home window(very frustrating).

Is this still the case for everyone else?

o and i have gone to ouya updates and it says I am up to date..

Edit:
Thought I was just clarify it seems that the apps on the store update and can be downloaded. Just not the ouya store interface

    Sounds like you need to download the latest update, but for some reason your OUYA thinks it is up to date when it isn't. Maybe try the re-run setup option?

    I had an OUYA that refused to upgrade firmware.
    The fix was to 'clear cache' of the 'launcher' app.
    You do this in system settings.
