We need Invert options in these games Devs. Its more common than you think. I'm afraid upon launch that games will get bad reviews and/or no Likes without this option. Only applies to FP/TP (first person , third person) titles.
Isn't this feature something that apps themselves should implement. Likely if Ouya forces it then navigating menus will also be inverted. Plus you may prefer to have different preferences in different apps. Like fps vs flight simulator.
Y-axis inversion is a must-have for any FP game (FPS or otherwise). Ideally the console has some default (inerted or not), but there should definetly be a setting controlled by the API so not every developer has to do the same thing again.

I don't think this is at all the concern of OUYA. Yeah every developer has to implement it, but it's not like it's something that's very hard to implement - if your game already supports options (which it should), just a single boolean, and multiply right stick Y axis by -1. A few lines at most.
You didn't remember the plot of the Doctor Who movie because there was none; Just a bunch of plot holes strung together.
OUYA TEAM: Can you please include this in the Best Practices documentation, if there is any?
Would be great to create a checklist, just like in a plane. During publishing, devs would be asked with this form. It would be just formal, but it could help to think before releaseing stuff.
I have thought about it and i think there should be some kind of support by the console for general controller preferences (Y-axis, sensitivity, etc). Perhaps implemented as presets for each controller. Or even better on a user account level. So if I have more than controller my wife or my buddy only have to choose the controller they currently (!) use and have their settings restored instantly.
