Adobe AIR Support?

I would LOVE to develop a game for Ouya but Learning a whole new programing language like java is a bit to much for me. Its not like Adobe Air is only used my 4 people. Alot of Apps are created for The Google Play Store with it and could be brought to Ouya if they added support for Air. Ouya Persons if you see this PLEASE add support for Adobe Air. We Need it

Thanks =)

    Adobe Air is supported last time I saw. There is a few people that used it to make a few simple games.for the OUYA.

    Adding it to builds is on our radar, and the General Development forum is where you'll find others using AIR etc. for now :)

    @LoadedToaster you could package the player into the APK and not rely on the store having Adobe Air? Maybe Im misunderstanding you, hope this helps.

    We're developing our projects with AIR, and it works great on the OUYA.

    You can use "Captive Runtime" to include the AIR runtimes within your APK on deployment - that makes sure your users don't need to sideload the AIR runtime themselves.

    Adobe is adding support for the OUYA controller to the next release of AIR, but until that comes and is running smoothly, we have an ANE you can use right here:

    And if you're after in-app purchases, we also have an ANE for that:

    Both are working with ODK 1.0.3, various bugs fixed, updated to use encrypted purchases etc.  Good luck with your AIR development, it's certainly made our lives a lot easier!

    Adobe AIR development is really a good platform for games and is having various plug-ins which lets you to design custom applications.
