I published an update to my game yesterday, but people are still downloading the old version today?

Is this a problem with Analytics, or is there somehow a bug making my update not download?  I mean, earlier today the number of people who had downloaded version 1.1 of my game on 4/23 was 13, and within the last couple hours (after I tweeted that version 1.2 was available) it became 14, though 1.2 was published yesterday afternoon.

Is anyone else seeing this kind of thing?

Verified that your version 1.2 is published and afaik the version downloadable from the store.  I'm downloading it now in fact, so check your stats in say 20 min. or so.

The Analytics does register an additional download of 1.2 for a total of 6 today...but two *more* downloads of 1.1 within the last hour for a total of 16!

Maybe there are some websites downloading or listing the old version of your app. I can verify that totalOUYA.com has 1.2 because that's where I downloaded it from.

Yeah, but the analytics will only show downloads directly coming from the OUYA servers - if some site has stored a local copy to download, that wouldn't show up on the OUYA analytics page.

But Totalouya.com doesn't store local copies - it just links to the Ouya servers. If there are other sites out there that are caching links to old versions of your app, wouldn't they still show up in the analytics?

That's my point, if a site stores local copies, then this site's Analytics won't register the download.  There should be no copies of the old version of my app on any server run by OUYA anywhere for anyone to link to 24 hours after I published the update, if there is then there's a bug somewhere in the system.

Download status update: there are now 19 downloads of 1.1 made today, and 8 downloads of 1.2.

@Piers - to avoid counting downloads from different webstores people made maybe your programmer could just filter out requests made with wrong browser user agent?

Already filter out those.  This issue was unrelated to other sites.
