I'm in the process of submitting my game Flying Car.
It's an Ouya exclusive physics-based flying/racing game. Kind of Pilot Wings-inspired, with old-school flat-shaded polygon graphics.
I'd really appreciate any feedback you wanna give me. The initial Alpha version will be free in store while I flesh it out and tune it based on feedback.
I think you need to work on the style of the game. Games like Darwinia look nice because it's simple graphics has some incredibly stylish elements.
Just a bit bigger polycount would probably be nice too. At least on the terrain, your sense of scale is impacted by the difference in Polys per square-volume, which makes games that suffer from this disparity harder in a frustrating way.
woo i just tried it - it runs great! :-) i noticed you didnt get around to implementing those shadows?
Evidently he had trouble with my shadow solution *almost* working but not quite for reasons beyond my comprehension.
That said it looks like The Amazing Frog does have realtime shadows, I believe they're using the Shadow Volume Toolkit on the asset store so maybe he could use that - it does consume a fair bit of fillrate however.
You didn't remember the plot of the Doctor Who movie because there was none; Just a bunch of plot holes strung together.
yeah i saw some interesting posts flowing around yours on unity forums... It's funny you should mention that game, im just having drinks with my flatmate (we're in a bit of a stall) cracking up over no-brakes valet (!!!!) and decided that not-frogger game might be another party go-er (dl'ing right now)
Can't find aapt.exe? Temp fix: Copy another one from 'android_sdk/build-tools/17.0.0' back to your 'platform-tools' -=Hicsy=- PM meFacebook
