Double Agent is a first-person shooter built with Unity 4 game engine. This will be Happy Bomb Games first main indie game project that is heavily influenced by classic first person shooter (like Perfect Dark, Turok, and TimeSplitters). One of our main focuses for the project is to make the gameplay as exciting and engaging for all gamers and to make the plot & storyline as understanding as the FPS games in past were. Another focus is to gain an audience for our project who grew up playing the classic FPS games and an audience of multiple indie game communities. Using the Unity 4 game engine will make this possible for us to create an iconic style yet a brand new IP to enter the indie market. We are also using a Unity extension (that is still being beta tested) called FPS Control developed by the Tornado Twins and Indie{Rain} developed by rival{theory}. FPS Control extension helps us define how our first-person shooter will play out as a whole using controls and codes that is normally used for first-person shooters, and Indie{Rain} is A.I. visual scripting tool that lets us control and define our game's A.I. will act and react to the player and the environment making the A.I. smarter and more effective in the project. The game will be available for OUYA, GameStick, PC, Mac, Linux and PlayStation Vita, however we do not have an official release date yet.

Drawing Universe is a game that I am developing where you have to run and jump around planets to get to the goal in a 360 DEGREE GRAVITY world. Did you think the 360 degree gravity was the unique gameplay element? No! You can also DRAW your own planets on the screen (hopefully) with the touchpad or with the right stick and right trigger. If you can't get the hang of those controls, you can always USE YOUR PHONE AS A CONTROLLER instead of the Ouya controllers. This means you can have more than the usual 4 players, so you can play with all your friends if you have more than 3 of them. In fact you can even play against your PC or Mac connected to your wifi if you want to.

OK at this point I should add a disclaimer that I don't have an Ouya that I can test with yet, so I don't know if the multiplayer works properly on it or not, but it's working awesomely with my PC (with multiple gamepads), Mac, iPod and iPad. And I own GMS so in theory it should port over with little effort (I'll need to make changes but probably not with the multiplayer).

Drawing Universe should have over 300 levels - that's 100 normal levels, 100 hard mode levels and the 100 levels from Drawing Galaxy (the prequel). They are short, but difficult. The gravity and drawing mechanics should get you thinking about how to complete these levels, well, at least more than a regular sidescroller would. You have to avoid comets which are one hit kill and each different colour has a different "ability", for example the cyan ones erase drawings and the magenta ones bounce off planets.

Here is a quick preview. I just finished the first 100 levels (and of course the 100 Drawing Galaxy ones too) so I thought it was time to show everyone.

(wait, how do you embed videos?)

Also, I'm adding some guest characters (which is where the "over" in "over 300 levels" comes from). So if you have a character that you want to be included, just reply/message me.

I want to release it when I can get it working well on Ouya, but that means I will need an Ouya beforehand (I preordered for April). I'm so excited for Ouya so I'll put it on Ouya before anything else. If you want to try it you can try it on GameMaker Steam Workshop. It's free (with the free version of GameMaker on Steam).

Tell me what you think!

Hey guys,

we are proud to announce that our first title is now available in the OUYA-store: Sci-Fighters!

The games idea (created by "The Impossible Game" creator
FlukeDude) is as simple as addicting: Four players are set in an arena
which is haunted by a monster. Each player tries to be the last man
standing using classical 2d-gameplay mechanics. By using different
weapons like flash grenades, a monster potion (turning the player into a
monster), an ice-rifle or even an automatic laser the players are
fighting for their lives over and over again. The definite highlight of
the game is the multiplayer mode for up 4 players which transforms the
OUYA to a real party-console. Single-players are able to train their
skills by challenging the smart AI-controlled CPU-enemies.

Sci-Fighters presents itself in a comic-like 2d-style using different
settings like “Martian Mansion” or “Toxic Forest”. The game draws lovely
animated characters and wonderful sceneries and background on the
screen, designed by SuperFlashBros-genius Adam Vian.

The best is yet to come: Sci-Fighters comes with all features completely free.
An integrated “pay-if-you-like” menu offers the players the possibility
to contribute the developers if and how much as they desire.

Features
•	Multiplayer-mode for up to 4 players
•	7 different weapons from flash grenade to ice-cannon
•	Bizarre characters with beautiful animations
•	3 unique settings with different monsters, background and according ambient-music
•	Completely free playable with integrated pay-if-you-like-option

Would love to hear what you people here think about the game and let me know if you find any issues or ideas to improve the game :)

Cheers,
Mark // Headup Games

Just published my first game to the story. The Vestibule is a completely free mystery/adventure game about self-discovery with a somber atmosphere. It's a remake of a game we made for Ludum Dare a couple years back, where it ranked in the top 5 for Mood. The Ouya version was made with Monogame.

You can complete the game in under a half hour. Care to give it a try?

UPDATE: This game is now available on Google Play as well! It is $2.50 to download the entire game (36 levels + 4 bosses).

In this game you play as Rhodri. To be able to traverse the levels, you must bounce off of springs, hover over fans, and interact with other mechanics to beat the game. The idea behind this is that a lot of platformer games on smart phones require a button on the touchscreen to allow you to jump. I personally am sick of this, so we made a game where you can not jump. All you can do is move left and right. Just like our other game "Power Ups that Kill," this game will be available on both the Ouya and Android phones and tablet devices. We will upload a beta apk to both
the Ouya store and here for Android users to test before official
release. Please download it and test for us if you think it looks interesting!

Here are some pics of the final version if anyone is interested:

We will post a legitimate trailer in the next couple of weeks, but this game will be available on the console at launch. Here is some new game-play footage:

Here's the most recent screen from our entry, called "Pig Eat Ball". It's a 4 player action game where you control a flying pig creature in outer space trying to eat the most balls first. As you eat the balls, you get bigger in size. Your friends can bump you on your tail though, which makes you spit out a ball.

As the game starts most players just try to eat as many balls as possible, but once someone starts getting really big, it's clear the other players need to work together, bumping the biggest player's tail to knock them down to size--if they don't, that player will surely win!

It's getting close, but I just got the game finishing with a wrap up screen last night. I think we'll have something nice for the contest!

One of the big reasons we wanted to take our games to Ouya is that we could finally see us building a proper library there. You see we've been all over the place - Steam, 3DS, tablets etc and our players of one game don't necessarily carry over to our other games.

But if we had all our games next to eachother in the same store, and started building a really good 'library' of games there, eventually all games would be lifted up by eachother once one of them did good/great. That's the big idea anyway.

But.. there is currently no "related" or "more from this publisher" on the Ouya Store.

I guess it's still early days and the Store will see many updates going forward. Everybody's already talking about the Sandbox, so I would like to instead add in this - Please add a "more by this developer" function!

However it is in the "sandbox" part of the store. What is the Sandbox exactly?

Also, the thumbnail shown there is the very first temp image (just some very bad programmers art) - and I'm wondering if that's the image everybody else see also or if it's chached locally on our Ouya.

The game is 'Bunibon 2' if anyone could be so kind and try and locate it in the Store.

I just really want to know what's going on here. Since the game was approved, and we published it, I was really expecting it to be in the Store from the start!
